Looking for the best travel phrases to use as captions for photos on social media? So check out this list of 150 inspiring phrases and take them to your Instagram or Facebook photos!
Since sixth grade, I've had a file in my notebook with cool phrases to use as captions for photos.
At the time, there weren’t even smartphones and much less Instagram, and they were intended for my photos on Orkut and Fotolog. Ok, I admit that sometimes I also used one or the other as an indirect personal message from MSN, but only once in a while.
The other day, looking for photos for a post, I came across this file, which had long since stopped being updated, and I was surprised by how many cool phrases were there. Most of them, however, weren't suitable for travel photos, and that's where the idea for this post came from.
I've collected 150 travel phrases for you to use as captions for photos on your Instagram, Facebook or any other current social network. Most of them are originally in English, but I added translations into Portuguese (free, most of them made by me) for those who don't speak the language or just prefer to post in our language.
None of the sentences are my own, and I credited the authors when I managed to find them. Those who are without it are because the internet attributes it to “anonymous” or “ancient Chinese proverb”. Some were taken from films, books (the Goodreads website is great for finding this type of content) or they are song lyrics, in which case I also indicated the titles.
